Program Description:
We are delighted to announce that the ThinkSwiss scholarship program managed by the Embassy of Switzerland in Washington, D.C. is ready to go into its next round!

The program is specifically designed for students enrolled at U.S. and Canadian universities and offers a monthly stipend of approx. $1,100 for a research internship at a Swiss university or public research institution for 2-3 months under the supervision of a host professor. The call has been opened and applications are accepted until January 31, 2017! For more detailed information, please visit our ThinkSwiss website and blog under www.thinkswiss.tumblr.com/about.

In 2016, 23 students had the opportunity to spend up to three exciting and informative months at a Swiss research institution of their choice with the help of ThinkSwiss. Below you can find the PDF version of this year’s flyer. The Embassy of Switzerland will also actively promote ThinkSwiss via our social media channels on Twitter and Facebook.

I will look back upon my time in Switzerland as a critical phase of my career and personal development. I gained myriad new experiences, met many new people of highly diverse backgrounds, and improved both my research abilities and my German and French language abilities. – Mike, ThinkSwiss Awardee 2016
